The Atlanta Falcons reportedly agreed to sign free agent defensive lineman Calais Campbell Wednesday. His addition bolsters the teams defensive front and could add veteran leadership to the locker room.
Campbell spoke with "The Morning Shift on 92.9 the Game" host Tiffany Blackmon and shared his thoughts on signing with the Falcons.
Even though Campbell said he had visits lined up with the New York Jets and the Buffalo Bills, he signed with the Falcons because he believes in what the team is trying to do.
Blackmon said Campbell told her he "feels like with this roster, they have a chance to surprise some people this season."
Arthur Blank's commitment to Atlanta and his desire to help impact the community we also contributing factors in Campbell agreeing to sign with the Falcons.
