What does it take to be king of a sports city? Fame? Notoriety? You absolutely have to be endured by fans, and that takes a level of elite that few athletes are able to achieve. Who is the current king of Atlanta? Did Hank Aaron, Chipper Jones, and Michael Vick reach this status? What about Matt Ryan? He was arguably the best Falcon ever, but was he out in the limelight enough to be considered king?

When Ronald Acuña Jr busted on to the scene in 2018, his popularity soared, and he definitely has the swag to be considered king, but has he done enough? After all, he was injured for most of the Braves 2021 World Series run. The same could probably be said about Trae Young, who also may not be endured by fans as much as the other guys. Now there's a new kid on the block: Falcons' rookie running back Bijan Robinson. Since being announced as the eighth overall pick in the 2023 draft, he has the entire city in a buzz, and if he lives up to the hype, he may just become the new "king of Atlanta" Steak Shapiro and Sandra Golden discuss what may just be the rise of a new king.
