Michael Penix Jr. shouldn't be labeled injury prone because of rib injury

Earlier today on The Morning Shift, Ali Mac, Mike Johnson and Beau Morgan explained why they think Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Penix Jr. shouldn't be labeled as injury prone because of the rib injury he suffered late in the game last night in the Falcons 30-23 overtime los to the Baltimore Ravens in Atlanta.

“He didn’t get hurt because he’s not durable, he got hurt because a 6’6 265 lbs human being hit him right in the ribs with all his body weight and force. I can’t sit here and say well Mike’s injury prone. I don’t believe that in this case.” Beau Morgan said

Michael Penix Jr. shouldn't be labeled as injury prone because of a rib injury that is not related to any of his other injuries, and clearly happened because of a specific reason. This was simply just a bad break and bad luck for Penix, and hopefully he’ll be able to return this week against the Bears or at worst the week after.
