Earlier today on The Morning Shift, Mike Johnson, Ali Mac, and Beau Morgan reacted to what Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Penix Jr. had to say in his press conference yesterday about how he’s progressing from his torn ACL and when he could possibly play again for the Falcons, and explained why they think Penix Jr. is flip-flopping his reason for not playing between not being mentally ready and not being physically ready.
“I’m telling you from the outside looking in it looks like he’s flip-flopping. It looks like when he got pressure for saying he wasn’t mentally ready he went back to it’s physical.” Beau Morgan said
After their press conferences yesterday Falcons Head Coach Kevin Stefanski and Falcons quarterback Michael Penix Jr. made what was already a confusing and murky quarterback situation even less clear.
