Florida Gators Head Coach Dan Mullen joined Dukes & Bell to talk about Kyle Pitts, why the Falcons just got a special player in Pitts and where does Pitts rank among the best players that Mullen has coached?
Mullen talked about Pitts being one of the best players he’s ever coached.
“The two best offensive players that I’ve seen that were not quarterbacks that I’ve coached were really Kyle Pitts and Percy Harvin. Those are two guys that can change the game and they have flexibility to play multiple positions, you move them around.” Mullen said “Every time the ball is in the air, headed in their direction everyone in the stadium’s holding their breath because they can score at any time, he’s that good of a player.”
“He’s a hard worker, great young man, comes from a great family, works at the game puts in all the extra time. Believe it or not for all the accolades he’s got he plays with a little chip on his shoulder, still. That’s what you want, he’s got that hunger and that drive.”
