The Georgia Bulldogs have 14 players at the NFL Scouting Combine this week in Indianapolis which is the most of any school this year. Could this be the year the Atlanta Falcons finally draft a UGA player?
With a tight salary cap, the Falcons are looking to fill every position to try and improve their roster. However, they have only drafted four Georgia players since 2000.
The last time the Falcons drafted a Bulldogs player was back in 2011 when they used a third round pick on linebacker Akeem Dent.
Which Dawgs' player is the best fit for the Falcons?
"The one player that the Falcons (should) draft from Georgia is (safety) Lewis Cine," Randy McMichael said.
Cine is projected by most draft analysts to be a late second round pick. He had 73 total tackles, two tackles for loss, one interception and nine pass deflections in 15 games with the Bulldogs in 2021.
"I would love to see Lewis Cine play for the Falcons," Andy Bunker echoed. "That guy is a monster--knocks people's blocks off."
