Russell Wilson is jet-setting on a Friday as he'll be meeting with the New York Giants and the Pittsburgh Steelers about possibly playing quarterback for those teams. Neither teams fan-base is overly excited about bringing about a QB who was top 10 in multiple categories this past season.
Wilson, who could come extremely cheap in year one, finished 9th in TD passes, depsite bieng benched late in the season, and was top 10 in passer rating as well. Depsite the performance, it seems many beleive he has declined although the stats say otherwise.
Giants fans took to social media in droves this morning despite their current starting QB being Daniel Jones, and many Steelers fans did the same knowing their current signal-caller is Kenny Pickett. Both franchises could use upgrades at QB, but it appears the supporters don't view Russell Wilson as that.
It's understandable that some may be turned off from Russell Wilson becuase of how they think about him, weird or odd, but to question his ability seems surprising from a feww teams who are certainly in need of a boost at the QB position.
