Welcome (back) to Atlanta Raheem Morris, a great hire for the Head Coaching position with the Atlanta Falcons. So what's next? With Ryan Nielson headed down to Jacksonville, the Falcons now need to need to hire two coordinators. On the offensive side of the ball, the Falcons seem to be on the cusp of hiring Rams passing game coordinator Zac Robinson, who is widely talked about as ready to step to coordinator. Then what do you do about the quarterback position? There are still many options.
They could attempt to trade for Justin Fields, where they may have to give up a player like Kyle Pitts. They could sign a free agent quarterback, such as Kirk Cousins or Russell Wilson (assuming he gets released by the Denver Broncos). Or they could draft a quarterback, which in itself presents many options. They could trade up for Caleb Williams or Jayden Daniels, or they could stand pat with the eighth pick and go with Michael Penix or one of the other quarterbacks that are available. There are many decisions to be made in the coming months for the Atlanta Falcons, and there is only one thing that they absolutely CAN NOT get wrong: The Quarterback.
