Bears Sign Tackle Cornelius Lucas To Reserve/Future Contract

(670 The Score) The Bears have signed veteran tackle Cornelius Lucas to a reserve/future contract, adding depth to their offensive line.

Lucas, 27, is a five-year NFL veteran who has played three seasons with the Lions, one with the Rams and most recently with the Saints. He has played in 37 career games, starting in eight.


The 6-foot-9, 328-pound Lucas entered the NFL in 2014 as an undrafted free agent out of Kansas State. He has started one game in each of the last two seasons.

The Bears have signed 13 players to reserve/future contracts since the end of their 2018 season.
