Trubisky dislocated his left shoulder in September when he hit the ground against the Vikings, and missed one game. He throws with his right arm.

Tuesday's news conference was a post-mortem of the Bears' disappointing 8-8 season. Team brass did not signal any significant changes, but later it emerged the Bears had fired four members of the coaching staff, including offensive coordinator Mark Helfrich.

Ryan Pace: "Mitch [Trubisky> is our starter. We believe in Mitch and we believe in the progress he's going to make."
