CRYSTAL LAKE, ILL. (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- They were gatherings that brought out those on both sides: Black Lives Matter and Back the Blue rallies.
The rallies converged in Crystal Lake Saturday.
ABC7 reported that they crossed paths at a local park after motorcycle riders stopped at several local police stations and a few dozen Black Lives Matter demonstrators chanted as the bikers rode by.
However, overall the protests were peaceful.
Meantime, on the same day in Kenosha, protesters demonstrating against the use of police force briefly disrupted a Kenosha rally organized to show support for law enforcement.
It happened at Civic Center Park where more than 200 people gathered for the Back the Blue rally.
