GARY, Ind. (WBBM NEWSRADIO) – Authorities in Northwest Indiana are seeking two men seen in surveillance images near a Gary residence in which two people were found shot to death.
Gary police responded Saturday night to reports of shots fired in the 6800 block of East 3rd Avenue. Inside a residence, officers found a woman and a boy dead from apparent gunshot wounds, the Gary Police Department said in a news release.
The Lake County/Gary Metro Homicide Unit have asked for the public’s heal in identifying two men who were pictured near the residence around the time of the shooting. Anyone with information is urged to call (219) 755-3855 or 866-CRIME-GP.
The two shooting victims are identified as 13 year old Lavell Edmond, and 35-year-old Temia Haywood.
