CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- An expo dedicated to baby products and safety has taken over Chicago this weekend.
Navy Pier is a sea of strollers and cluster of car seats for the Chicago Baby Show.
"It's everything you can think of for expectant and new parents," said Director of Content Mia Weber.
"We have tons of vendors with booths set up so you can touch and see the products, demos from the brand reps who know the products best," she said.
One of the most popular stands inside Festival Hall was for the Snoo: Smart Sleeper Bassinet.
"You can turn it on and the bed will automatically swing and rock your baby to sleep with gentle motion. It also plays white noise," spokesperson Lexi Monte said.
Along with shopping and researching, parents marveled at how technology is changing the art of parenting.
Many noted the benefits of hands-on shopping in the age of online access.
