A group of Pilsen area residents say they were treated disrespectfully by an employee of the post office last week and they're demanding an investigation into reports of discrimination.
It was last week when Evelyn Gonzalez says she went into the post office branch on Ashland near 18th, to help someone with a package. She said the postal clerk -- who was not bilingual -- was rude.
He noted there are signs in the post office to help people who do not speak English.
Reporters went inside with Norman to take a look. He said the signs are supposed to instruct people, if they have an app on their smart phone to translate.
Norman could not find the signs.
