CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Chicago police are looking for the hit-and-run driver who left an elderly man in Brighton Park hospitalized.
Carlos calls it unforgivable that someone would hit a person -- especially a senior -- and keep going.
He's hoping people will share the story and say a prayer for his dad so that they can find the driver and his father can make a full recovery.
In an encouraging sign, Efren was able to stand briefly today.
Carlos says his dad came to the U.S. from Mexico in the 1970s and has worked as a meatpacker in Back of the Yards and continues to works at a steel mill.
