Manny's Deli
WBBM Newsradio/Jim Gudas

CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- As candidates in next Tuesday's Illinois primary are out campaigning, they appear to be taking different approaches to interacting with voters in the wake of the coronavirus.

A popular stop for many candidates is Manny's Cafeteria and Delicatessen on Jefferson just north of Roosevelt.

Owner Dan Raskin says some of the candidates who have stopped by to campaign at Manny's are shaking hands as usual, while others are being a little more careful.

The one thing Raskin says he has noticed is a lot more hand washing or sanitizing by candidates and voters after shaking hands.
