Man Stabbed During Argument In Austin Convenience Store: Police

CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Charges are pending against a suspect accused of stabbing a 20-year-old man Monday in Austin on the West Side.

The man was in a convenience store at about 12:38 a.m. in the 5600 block of West Madison Street when he got into an argument with a male, Chicago police said. He was lacerated on the side of his head, and his condition was stabilized at Loyola University Medical Center.

After further investigation, the male he was arguing with was arrested on signed complaints in the 5400 block of West Washington, police said. Charges are pending.
