Masked Suspects Rob People In Lawndale: Police

CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Police are warning Lawndale residents about two armed robberies that happened last week.

In both cases, the suspects approached someone, displayed a gun and demanded or took property by force, Chicago police said in a community alert.

The first robbery happened at about 4 p.m. Nov. 18 in the 3400 block of West 16th Street, police said. A second occurred at about 12:40 a.m. Nov. 23 in the 1300 block of South Christiana Avenue.

The suspects are described as one to four males wearing all black and ski masks, police said.
