CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- A 16-year-old boy was killed Saturday in a drive-by in West Town on the West Side.
About 11 a.m. he was in the 2100 block of West Maypole Avenue, when someone in a passing silver BMW fired multiple shots at him, Chicago police said.
The boy was rushed to Cook County Hospital where he died, police said.
The Cook County medical examiner's office has not released the details of his death.
Area Central detectives are investigating the shooting.
