CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Police are warning Near West Side residents of a series of vehicle break-ins reported last month in West Town.
In each case, someone stole bags, electronics, and tools from parked vehicles, Chicago police said in a community alert. The suspects shattered a window to get inside the vehicles.
The thefts happened:
- Between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. Sept. 16 in the 300 block of North Sangamon Street
- Between 6:45 p.m. and 9 p.m. Sept. 16 in the 300 block of North Sangamon Street
- At 6:45 p.m. Sept. 16 in the 900 block of West Fulton Market
- Between 4 p.m. and 5:45 p.m. Sept. 16 in the 900 block of West Wayman Street
- Between 5:20 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sept. 23 in the 300 block of North Sangamon Street
- Between 6 p.m. and 8:45 p.m. Sept. 30 in the 300 block of North Sangamon Street
A description of any suspects was not immediately available.
