Thieves Take Property From Pickup Trucks In Little Village: Police

CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Police are warning residents on the Southwest Side after a couple of thefts were reported last week in Little Village.

In both cases, someone entered a backyard and took property from the bed of a parked pickup truck, Chicago police said.

A theft occurred at about 6 a.m. Sept. 16 in the 2600 block of South Keeler Avenue, police said. Another took place at about 5 a.m. Sept. 18 in the 2700 block of South Tripp Avenue.

A description of any suspects was not immediately available.
