CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) – A TV repair and sales shop that's been in Ravenswood for 49 years is asking its longtime customers for help with the rent.

The shop itself is a throwback. It repairs sells TVs and old electronics.

Even the name is a throwback: 20th Century TV and Stereo Center.

The owners, Mitch and Ursula Lewczuk, have endured a lot since the shop opened in 1970.

Mitch was robbed at the store.

"Right now, we are not making enough money in the shop, at least not to pay for the loans,” she says.

These are the loans they took out to pay the rent.

A few months ago, they started a gofundme page. Ursula said some people have been generous, with one man donating more than $300.

They work 16 hours a day, seven days a week, and say they have never taken a vacation.
