Kulsoom Khan joined WBBM Newsradio as a Digital Content Producer in September 2021. Her background spans multiple platforms including print, digital, and broadcast. Prior to relocating to the Chicago area, Kulsoom was a reporter and digital producer for the Times Leader, the largest publication in Northeastern Pennsylvania. She completed internships and fellowships with News 13 in Northeastern Pennsylvania and national media outlets such as MSNBC and PBS Newshour in New York and Washington D.C. Her work has also appeared in the Associated Press, Voice of America, Agence France Presse, and the Chicago Tribune's suburban publications. Kulsoom has a B.A. in Journalism from Penn State University and she completed her Master's in 2014 with a concentration in multimedia storytelling/production from the Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute's Reporting the Nation program at New York University. She enjoys traveling, painting, and spending time with family.
