The Chicago Park District Board this week approved a two-year permit agreement with the organizers of the "Pokémon GO Fest" to host the event in Grant Park.
The next Chicago outdoor festival featuring the Japanese company's games, animation and merchandise will be held in Summer 2026, and is expected to attract up to 40-thousand attendees per day.
