CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - A 13-year-old boy faces felony robbery charges in connection with an incident that occurred on a CTA Brown Line train earlier this month.
Chicago police said the minor robbed two female passengers, ages 24 and 25, on Sunday, June 4, while onboard a train in the Loop near Van Buren and Dearborn. The 25-year-old victim injured her leg while trying to stop the boy.
Police arrested the suspect in South Shore, at 74th and Kingston on Tuesday. He was charged with two felony counts of robbery and one felony count of aggravated battery.
