
CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - An argument among a group of people on the West Side Monday night led to a shooting and stabbing.
According to police, officers responded to Loreal near Washington in the South Austin, at around 8:15 a.m., and discovered a 14-year-old girl had been shot in the buttocks. She was sent to Stroger Hospital in critical condition.
A second victim, a 50-year-old woman, was transported to Mt. Sinai Hospital in good condition with a stab wound in good condition.
A witness at the scene told police a verbal argument escalated to gunfire.
No one is in custody. Area Four Detectives are investigating the incident.
