(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Police investigating a shooting on the city's West Side that injured three people. It happened on West Madison Street in the area of Cicero Avenue during the midnight hour.
A 33-year-old male was shot in the thigh while traveling in a vehicle. He was taken to Stroger Hospital where he is listed in good condition.
A 43-year-old standing nearby was shot in the face and is at Loretto Hospital where he is listed in critical condition.
Police say a third male, 51, was also standing outside was hit in the torso and leg. He's at Mt. Sinai where he is in serious condition.
Authorities say it appears multiple people exited a white sedan and began shooting at a vehicle. There is no one in custody and Area Four Detectives are investigating.
