CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Additional 7-Eleven stores have been targeted by armed robbers.

Three more armed robberies at 7-Eleven stores, that brings the total to 11 this week.

As was the case in each of the others on Monday and Wednesday, two armed men walked into the stores and demanded and were given money from the registers. They've taken the actual registers in some cases. And in most, they're seen leaving the store in a dark-colored SUV.

In one case, they carjacked a customer's Jeep that was later used in another robbery.

Police aren't saying if all of these crimes were committed by the same people.

The latest robberies occurred on the 1400 block of W. Montrose, the 1500 block of W. Lawrence and the 3000 block of N. Pulaski. All occurred in the early morning hours, like the others.

Nobody has been hurt in any of the robberies.

"The safety of Seven-Eleven customers, Franchisees and store associates is of the utmost importance. We are gathering information and working closely with local law enforcement," 7-Eleven told WBBM in a statement.
