(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Three people were critically injured in an early Sunday morning crash on the city's West Side.
Chicago Police say the driver of a Chevy Silverado pickup truck lost control while speeding and crashed into an apartment building near Austin Boulevard and Fillmore Street in the Austin neighborhood. It happened just before 4 a.m.
The 27-year-old female driver and two male passengers were taken to area hospitals in critical condition.
No other injuries were reported. Police are continuing to investigate the crash.
