CHICAGO — A 32-year-old man was fatally shot late Tuesday night inside of a barbershop in Chicago's Auburn Gresham neighborhood on the South Side, according to Chicago police.
The gunman was wearing all black and a black ski mask, police said, when he walked into House of Styles Beauty and Barbershop near 80th and Halsted Streets just before midnight.
Police said the suspect fired multiple shots before he ran off.
The 32-year-old man was hit in the right armpit and was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he died of his wounds, authorities said.
Police did not share whether the man was an employee or a customer of the barbershop.
No one is in custody.
