4 seriously hurt in crash near Far South Side's Ford Motor plant: CFD

CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Four people were critically injured Wednesday night following a Far South Side car crash.

The Chicago Fire Department said crews responded to the scene of a traffic accident in the South Shore neighborhood near 126th Place and Torrence Avenue, shortly before 8:15 p.m. It occurred just steps away from the Ford Motor plant.


Four people were transported to the hospital, all with critical injuries. Two were sent to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, while the other two were rushed to University of Chicago Medical Center.

Details of the accident were not made available.
