Paulo Villabona told the SUN-TIMES that "It's been a longtime dream" of his to own a restaurant.
When the popular Gale Street Inn closed in June due to staffing issues, Villabona bought the restaurant in Jefferson Park and the sale included the recipe for Gale Street's beloved baby back ribs.
Villabona says he plans to reopen the restaurant with those ribs on the menu at 49-14 North Milwaukee Avenue in December.
