(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Performances of "Cinderella" at Aurora's Paramount Theatre have been canceled for the weekend because of a COVID-related illness within the cast and crew, officials announced Friday.
People with tickets to Dec. 17, 18 or 19 performances of the musical are asked to select alternate dates. Credit or refunds will be offered to people who cannot reschedule, the Paramount said.
"Cinderella" is the latest live event to be postponed or canceled in the Chicago area during the latest wave of the coronavirus.
Also Friday, Broadway in Chicago told WBBM Newsradio that this weekend's performances of "Pretty Woman" have been canceled.
