CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Chicago police have opened an investigation after an 8-month-old girl died early Saturday.
A police spokesperson said officers responded to a Washington Heights home near 91st and Ada Streets shortly after 4 a.m., where they found the baby unresponsive in her mother's bed.
The baby was later pronounced dead at Little Company of Mary Hospital.
The Cook County Medical Examiner identified the girl as Taya Morris.
Police released no other details.
