Originally, scammers sent cheap items to people and used their names for fake reviews. Now, they’re including QR codes that, when scanned, can steal your personal info or install malware on your phone.
The FBI and USPS warn that this can lead to stolen credit card numbers, drained bank accounts, and compromised financial data.
If you get a package with no return address and a QR code—don’t scan it. Stay safe. Protect your personal information and your money.
