CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) — The Chicago Bears and Miami Dolphins will meet at noon Saturday at Soldier Field, and Jeff Joniak and Tom Thayer have some predictions about what may happen.

For one thing, there will be fans in stands.

“I’m excited to go out and see how enthusiastically the players go out on the field, but I’m also looking for the support of the Bears fans,” Thayer, a former Bears player, said.

Last season, the Bears games were without fans because of the pandemic.

Also Saturday, Joniak said he expects Chicago Bears Head Coach Matt Nagy to put presumed starting quarterback Andy Dalton in for a series or two.

The Bears and Dolphins had joint practice sessions earlier this week.

Pregame coverage will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday on WBBM Newsradio.
