(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Chicago Bears Head Coach Matt Eberflus remains on the hot seat entering Sunday’s meeting with the Arizona Cardinals.

Fans are apoplectic; talking heads are yammering away; even some of Eberflus’ players have questioned the way things went down at the end of the Washington loss.

They did not, though, turn their backs. At least, Safety Kevin Byard didn't.

“I still believe he's a good coach,” Byard said. “I think he's a great coach. I still believe that the players, we believe in him. I still think that nothing's going to change on our end: as a team, how we prepare and how we go about our business. What happened on Sunday happened, and, at the end of it we're just moving forward."

After a touchy week in Lake Forest, the fastest way to clear the air will be with a win.
