(WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- It has been reported this week that many tickets are available for Saturday's Bears game against the Bills at Soldier Field, with ticket prices dropping faster than the temperature.

One former player might be a bit disappointed in fans who don't want to "bear down" in the cold at Soldier Field on the lakefront.

That would be T Bears Hall of Fame linebacker Dick Butkus.

He wrote on Twitter Friday that he was in his element when he played in similarly frigid conditions.

"I miss playing in this kind of weather. It slowed everyone down... and I was able to crunch some folks and cause some turnovers!!"

The game begins at noon. Temperatures aren't expected to get above 12 degrees, not factoring in the wind chill.
