If you have a few thousand dollars to spare, you can bid on a rare piece of Chicago Bulls history that is now up for auction.

The ticket is from a 1984 pre-season game the Bulls played at Washington High School in Northwest Indiana against the Milwaukee Bucks, Michael Jordan's first home game as a rookie.

Collector and owner of the ticket David Blixt said he had put the ticket away and forgot about it.

Now, 40 years later, he found the ticket in a box of old baseball cards in his childhood bedroom. He had purchased it for $5.

Bidding is now over $3,500. The auction ends Saturday, December 6.
