Twenty-five years later and still no clue what happened to missing Chicago sisters Tionda and Diamond Bradley.

Ten-year old Tionda Bradley and her three-year old sister Diamond had left a note for their working mom that they were leaving their apartment on 35th and Cottage Grove, going to a store and then off to a playground. They haven’t been seen since that day.

“It’s so hurtful to even think that it went past a year,” says the girls’ great aunt Shelia Bradley Smith.

“Twenty-five years, a quarter of a century, more than two decades and we’re still nowhere with finding those girls.”

Smith believes someone known to the girls’ mother took them. She urges law enforcement to start from square one to find out what happened to them. She says family doesn’t give up looking for answers.

“We talk about it, we cry about it, we pray about it but it’s just no change,” she says.

Smith encourages anyone who may have information about what would now be the missing 35 and 28 year old women to call the FBI.

Tionda and Diamond’s pictures and computerized-aging images of them remain posted on the website of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
