CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Campus police at Northwestern University have identified suspects in the theft of thousands of COVID-19 testing kits.
Northwestern police reported having identified multiple students as suspects in the break-in that netted 4,500 test kids that were taken from a storage room in a common area of a dorm.
Police said most of the kits were recovered, according to the student newspaper, the Daily Northwestern.
Earlier, police had said they were reviewing security camera video from the dorm, the Foster-Walker Complex, which houses more than 200 students.
