(WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Dozens of Chicago chefs will be serving up bites to raise money for two local charities and honor the city's so-called "Breakfast Queen.”

Ina Pinkney served up breakfast in the West Loop at Ina's Kitchen for more than 30 years.

In honor of her 80th birthday, 60 chefs from around Chicagoland will gather to celebrate her life and influence on the hospitality industry. They’ll also be raising money for Pilot Light and Green City Market educational programs.

“We wanted to do the party for Ina, and she said, ‘Let’s do it for charity,’” says chef Sarah Stegner from Northbrook's Prairie Grass Café.

Chicago Chefs Cook has raised more than $1 million over the last year for refugees in Ukraine, Puerto Rico, Tigray and Turkey.

Ina's Bash will be on Wednesday at The Geraghty. Tickets are available online.
