The smell of love, and hot dogs, is in the air for one local couple.
Abby Pucker and Michal Dzitko recently got engaged at the Wiener's Circle at 2622 North Clark, the famous hot dog joint known for its sassy employees, humorous hot dog giveaways, and memorable messages on its marquee.
Dzitko told WBBM with a sense of humor (and maybe some mustard on his lips) that "the Wiener's Circle is one of the last bastions of sanity in America!"
Abby said she thought she was going to a meeting but instead Michal secretly told her friends and family he was going to pop the question and then did just that while they were at the Wiener's Circle counter, saying, "we were ordering and he got down one knee and then he pulled out a ring box and opened it and was like..this is real!"
Abby and Michal will get married in June. There's no word if they'll go back to The Wiener's Circle for their honeymoon.
