Chicago gains two MICHELIN Stars in latest guide

Twenty Chicago restaurants are featured in the latest MICHELIN Guide Chicago, including two for the first time.

Kasama, a Filipino restaurant in West Town and formerly a One Star, has joined the ranks of the Two Stars. It's lef by husband and wife duo Tim Flores and Genie Kwon, and the restaurant provides a modern interpretation of Filipino cuisine.

Feld, a contemporary spot in Ukrainian Village, debuted as a recommended restaurant in 2024 and has earned its first Star. Its menu that sources most products from within a four-hour radius of the restaurant.

Feld also received a Green Star, which which recognizes restaurants' commitment to environmental and ethical standards.

As Chicago gains two Stars, it also loses one. Alinea in Lincoln Park lost a Star. It had three Stars since 2010.
