
Chicago police are looking for whoever damaged an officer’s patrol car early this morning near Six Corners in Portage Park.
The officer was driving in a marked vehicle near Milwaukee Avenue, Irving Park Road, and Cicero Avenue at around 2:30 a.m. when, someone threw an item at the officer's SUV and shattered its windshield, police said.
Chicago police said the officer stopped the SUV, after which several people approached and one person began kicking a headlight.
The officer was treated at the hospital for minor injuries and released.
No one is in custody.
