Cook County prosecutors have charged a middle school student with disorderly conduct after she allegedly made threats against other students at Coolidge Middle School in south suburban Phoenix, Ill.
The Cook County Sheriff's Office said the Coolidge student posted threatening messages and images on social media.
Officials put the school on lock down Thursday in order to allow a search team, which included a K9 unit, to investigate the threats. The sheriff's office said the search team found nothing.
Authorities said detectives identified the student responsible and took her to the juvenile detention center.
No additional details were shared regarding the student.
