CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- The Chicago Transit Authority is running its Pride Train, celebrating the LGBTQ community for Pride Month.

Each of the eight cars on the Pride Train is wrapped with the traditional Pride Flag, the Transgender Flag and the Philly Flag. It’s running throughout the month on the Red Line. The Pride Train started in 2017.

The CTA said it was the first major transit agency to do this.
There’s also a Pride Ventra Card.

“We are a progressive and open-minded organization that has long supported equality and inclusion," CTA President Dorval R. Carter said in a statement.
