CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Here's another sign that opening day is right around the corner: Chicago Cubs single game 2023 tickets at Wrigley Field are now on sale.
Fans can go to the team's website to purchase the seats. The sale kicked off at 10 a.m. Those who purchase tickets between now and Tuesday, February 28 will be automatically entered into the "Wildest Dreams at Wrigley Field" sweepstakes. The three grand prizes include playing a softball game at Wrigley, a sleepover inside Wrigley and watching a game in a ballpark suite.
The Cubs' regular season begins Thursday, March 30, when they host the Milwaukee Brewers at 1:20 p.m.
There's a new wrinkle to the MLB schedule this year. Clubs will have a balanced schedule in 2023. They will play less games within their division, in the Cubs' case: Cardinals, Brewers, Reds and Pirates, and instead will face every other team in both the American and National Leagues at least three times. Excluding games against the team's geographic rival, interleague series will alternate each season.
