DEKALB (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - DeKalb police have made an arrest in the murder of a 15-year old girl.
DeKalb police said an adult man was arrested Sunday in connection with the murder of the teenage girl. Her body was found yesterday afternoon in the 500 block of College Avenue, a block where phone records indicate she had been on May 4 last Thursday, the last day her family had seen her.
After finding the girl’s body, police obtained a search warrant and went through a nearby home gathering evidence and then made an arrest.
Police said charges are being prepared against the suspect.
