Our PAWS Chicago Pet of the Week is a handsome tri-color mixed breed named Tubi. Just a couple pounds shy of 50 pounds, Tubi is the strong, silent type. He's been at PAWS about a month after coming to us from Chicago Animal Care and Control and the PAWS staff, volunteers and training team love working with this smart boy. He's been cleared for adoption after some minor medical issues. This 5 year-old will pull at your heartstrings, but not too hard on the leash. On Saturday, Sept. 16, you can pick up a dog along with your eggs, milk and bread in Frankfort. PAWS Chicago and Mariano's are hosting the PAWS Days of Summer Adoption event at the Mariano's in Frankfort. Several adorable puppies will be ready to meet you today from noon to 3 p.m. at Mariano's, 21001 S. La Grange Road.
